About General Medicine
The Department of General Medicine at MPKB Medical College is one of the busiest clinical departments, managing a diverse spectrum of medical conditions. With over 33,000 monthly OPD patients at K.D. Parvadiya Hospital, students receive unmatched bedside exposure to real patients across all ages and conditions.
Headed by Prof. Dr. Alkesh Pataliya (M.D., 12 Years), the department covers the full breadth of internal medicine — from acute infectious diseases and metabolic disorders to chronic systemic diseases and cardiac emergencies.
